The Rio Dulce crosses diagonally the province of Santiago Del Estero and then flows into the Mar Chiquita Lagoon within the province of Córdoba.
The fishing area is in the vicinity of the city of Loreto, the sandy bed of the river makes its waters clear and although its flow is not fast, along the river we find slides, poles and other structures that El Dorado used to stalk its prey.
Fishing is done by drifting in rafts and catarafts, but given the conditions the river allows wading in several sectors, which gives a unique and different feel in the fishing of El Dorado.
